The trial runs without payment details and without a notice period. The first payment is only due once it ends.

If you would rather not do the setup yourself, it can be booked once for €799, with no running costs. It is entirely optional.

The small print
On a sticker sheet the important part is often tucked away at the bottom. Here it is at full size, as Hello Kita describes it in its privacy policy and data processing agreement.
It is concluded digitally when you register, under Article 28 GDPR. The Kita or its operator remains the controller; Wasa Consult processes data on its behalf.
Kitas are strictly separated in the database. Data travels encrypted over TLS, and passwords are stored encrypted.
Health data, emergency contacts and collectors are stored separately with their own access check. Wasa Consult only has access once the Kita has granted it.
Hello Kita uses no advertising or tracking cookies. When the contract ends, data is deleted within 30 days, and an export is available on request.
Developed in Germany together with a Kita manager. The app runs with a professional cloud provider.

Anyone who wants to can add it to the home screen with one tap, and it then opens just like a familiar app. There is no download from the App Store or Google Play, and none is needed, neither for parents nor for educators.
Basic costs €29.90 a month or €299 a year, Pro €69.90 a month or €699 a year, each plus VAT. Paying yearly gives you two months free. Monthly plans can be cancelled at the end of any month, while yearly plans run for twelve months. Operators with several settings receive an individual offer.
Basic can be trialled free for 14 days and Pro for one month. You do not need to enter any payment details, and there is no notice period. The first payment only falls due after the trial has ended. New settings are briefly checked so that the app stays reserved for real Kitas.
Only Pro includes check in and attendance with the tablet terminal and attendance history, staff sick leave, tasks and duties, push notifications, lunch ordering with credit, the kitchen view, the parents association, reports with a three day forecast, your own login page with your logo and all nine colour themes. Basic brings the staffing light, notice board, messages, absence reports, authorised collectors and the group logs.
Hello Kita has a rota that keeps breaks, weekly hours and the German Working Hours Act in view, with templates for early, core and late shifts. According to the provider, the rules of many NRW operators are already built in. Which plan includes the rota for your Kita is something Wasa Consult will answer in its reply to your enquiry.
Yes, and that is the idea: setup is guided step by step inside the app, so no outside help is needed. If you would still rather hand it over, Wasa Consult can do the setup for a one off €799, with no running costs. Inside the app there is also a searchable questions and answers section and a guided tour.
